What's new in iBeauty

Every release, from the first version to this one. The story behind it is on the blog.

  1. 3.3

    Latest

iBeauty 3.3 saves you steps every day.

    • Record an income straight from a client: open the client, tap New Income, and they're already chosen.
    • Add the client's photos while you record the income.
    • Dismiss items in Needs attention once they're handled; they come back only if something changes, and anything dismissed by mistake can be restored.
    • Flag incomplete incomes: switch it on in Settings to see incomes without a client or services in Needs attention.
    • Manage service categories right from the Services screen.
    • On the web too: income from a client's page, photos in the income form, Needs attention dismissals, incomplete incomes and categories under Services.
    • Every row with a menu has a More Actions button, and menus open in a native sheet.
    • Long client and service lists load as you scroll.
    • Tips get their own row in Reports.
  2. 3.2

iBeauty 3.2 comes to your computer.

    • iBeauty on the web: sign in at ibeauty.danielzaharia.dev with the same account and work on a bigger screen — your month, clients, catalogue, costs and reports, with tables you can sort, search and export.
    • One subscription covers the phone and the web; there is nothing extra to buy.
    • A fresh look: new type, warmer colors and an icon-only tab bar.
    • Confirmation and password emails now open the app directly.
    • Today's card opens into the day's visits, and Needs attention has its own full list.
    • A service's page shows its recent sales.
    • Clients and services open over the screen you are on, so Back returns you there.
  3. 3.1

The work itself, next to the numbers.

    • Client photos: lash maps, nail art, brows, before and after, in a private gallery on every client.
    • A guided first run that shows the app full of real work before you type anything.
    • Every report is open to every subscriber — reports are no longer split by plan.
    • A client who has not been back in a month now surfaces sooner, instead of after two.
    • New services and products open in the category you used last, and the forms are tidier throughout.
    • One subscription with everything included, and the first month free. The separate free tier and Pro plan are gone; if you were already subscribed, nothing changes and you keep your price.
  4. 3.0

From a ledger to a business tool: one entry per client, linked to what you sold.

    • Clients: visit history, total spend, average visit, and a warning when someone has not been back.
    • Import clients from your phone's contacts — names and numbers only.
    • A catalogue of services and products, with your own categories and prices.
    • Line items on every entry, with tips and payments split across cash, card and transfer.
    • Home became a dashboard: today's total, the month's profit, and what needs attention.
    • Reports: revenue by service, category and type, a twelve-month trend, new versus returning clients, custom ranges and CSV export.
    • Existing entries carried over exactly as they were.

At the time, the detailed reports were part of iBeauty Pro. Since 3.1 there is one subscription, and every report is included.

  5. 2.0

Rebuilt from the ground up, for beauty professionals on the App Store and Google Play.

    • Faster income logging: daily totals, client count, payment status and payment method.
    • Clearer expense tracking, with one-off costs kept apart from recurring bills.
    • Wallets for taxes, savings, an emergency buffer and any money set aside.
    • A redesigned summary with income, expenses, net result, client value and performance trends.
    • Recurring expense reminders, so important payments stay visible.
    • A new, more reliable foundation for everything that came after.
